Thinking about the future, I think HUD will go the way of the dodo bird soon when people start developing automotive plugins for stuff like the Google Glasses.
On the other hand the glasses don't solve the ambient light problem

personally i would rather have a hud. the glasses are a cool idea but you look like an idiot wearing them, you can't wear sunglasses/ prescription glasses and glasses get uncomfortable after awhile. the only way i would consider them if they intergraded them in regular sunglasses that were transitions so you could where them day and night.

sounds good, the electricians ran 220 today but ran the wrong amperage. they should be back monday to fix it. once that's done i can start playing with and getting it right. the laser cutter is the size of a small car with adjustable table etc... very industrial

Put an Apple logo on them and everyone will think you are super cool wearing them

But I agree on some of your points - but glasses are just temporary until they figure out how to wire directly into our retina or brain!
