That's a good price! I had a 5.4 in mine and it was a wonderful motor. 6.2 does have a little more get-up but nothing too noticeable.
There are a few things you want to look at.
1) skid plates. Make sure they aren't too beat up
2) The back of the cab where it meets the bed. The frame tends to flex when driven hard and the bed will dent the cab.
3) Check the shocks to make sure they are not blown. Extended warranty will not cover the shocks ($1200 for the pair) and I have seen a bunch blown before 50,000 miles. The rear isn't really noticeable unless you pull the shocks off.
Most everything else should be covered under the extended warranty and I think the deductible is $100.00. IF it isn't covered call Jarrett at RPG and he can get you something better than stock
