pioneer has the best user interface, alpine has the best sound quality and the best finish (if you use the 928 with the perfect fit kit.) they both use navteq maps. in a side by side comparison you would be able to tell the tonal differences, but individually, they both are much better than oem. kenwood has some good interfacing with sync and uses garmin maps so updates are free, but its user interface is awful

these are just my opinions since i have dealt with these for a very long time.

forgot..... pioneer has the best iphone/android compatable units. it has whats called app mode which allows you to use many different apps from your phone onto the radio.

Thanks for your help. I'm going to try to get to the closest car stereo place around this area which is about 2 1/2 hours from my house. I'll try to post some pics soon, due to work schedules it's hard to do anything.
