I think this is a really creative option. I have Eclick on my stock 35 Raptor and love it. The only reason I’ve avoided the matching SDI top hat and going to 37’s at this point, is that Im not excited about the nose high attitude with the larger 1.75” lift from the SDI top hat with a stock rear. By that same token I wonder if one would need to stick with OEM or similar wheel offsets when going with a 1.25” lift from Index to avoid any tire rub issues on 37’s. There are always trade offs but this looks very interesting.

Saw this in one of the fb groups. I know this guy and he’s a super smart engineer and has done quite a bit of work in the mountain bike industry. I have no doubt he’s got quality products for the Gen 3

Hey thanks for sharing! I was just about to go post this up here but you beat me to it.

Here are a few pictures of how the truck sits. Front springs are fresh because I assembled new shocks to install. So expect the front light settle a tiny bit.

The way I see it when it comes to tire rub and offset is if it rubs at any point in travel, adding lift doesn’t solve it because you will be at that point in travel with the wheel turned eventually. But as far as clearance goes, this is equal to a truck that came stock with 37s.

Is the truck in the pic on 37’s?

A couple of graphics that help show what's going on if anyone is interested. The front, with different travel numbers of course, is the same, but with everything built into the top hat I think the rear is easier to visualize.

I noticed on your website it says parts will be clear anodized, will you be offering other colors in the future?
To be determined still. Is there a particular color you’d be looking for? The full batch has not been sent to ano yet. If enough people said they wanted a specific color we’d do it.

I'd be partial to the Fox orange or black, but was more or less just curious of the option. Just personally not a big fan of clear anodizing, but in all honesty anodizing makes a great surface to paint so it's not like it's a dealbreaker

The thinking with clear ano was that it looks similar enough to the aluminum parts Ford uses like stock control arms and top hats so it wouldn’t be too out of place and then it’s the most reliable in terms of parts never get scrapped at ano really. Could be inclined to do everything in black instead. I know at the end of the day that’s what most people would want. The trouble with orange is there’s always some variation. I have two shocks in my garage right now that don’t match even. I prefer to do finishes that will always meet peoples expectations and that is hard when even the things they might bolt to don’t match each other. But yeah I would say black is definitely on the table.
