Had my steering rack replaced and I have an issue of the truck pulling to the left. It's not horrible but noticeable. Also driver side wheel rubs against the fender when you turn the wheel fully in either direction. Steering wheel is centered, RPG upper control arms, Rpg front 3.0 suspension and method wheels on stock BFG's. Had it at Ford for a couple of days and they're stumped. Alignment is set to stock factory specs as of now. Any info on how to fix this problem would be great. Thnx.

Yes everything is tight. It's only the driver side wheel that rubs. wheel rotation was done and wheels are at 40 psi.

Alignment 'Within Spec' has lots of pluses and minuses allowed.
Most shops will set up alignment with a minor pull to the left to counter the crown of most roadways.
Check your truck on a level surface (large parking loot)
Look at the lower control arm pivot points; it should be close to equal left and right.
Caster and Camber have the biggest effect on pulling one way or the other.
Camber should be equal left and right.
Caster should also be close to equal with minor variations to counter pulling one way or the other.
If all looks good, check the rear axel alignment.

I have had rubbing issues with mine for some time now. Also a little pull to one side. Wheel was centered and it had been aligned. In fact rubbing was worse after alignment. So I had it aligned again. This time I asked them to not get hung up on factory spec and increase the caster angle a few degrees then get everything else where they were happy. Told them since I have SVC UCA and stock LCA I wanted to try it. Tires don't rub anymore. Steering is tracking true also. Tech said I should watch for excessive tire wear and rotate them more often. So far so good but it has only been a week.

The more caster you put in, the further fwd the wheel moves.
Also, as you turn, the camber on the outside will increase, this decreased under steer.

Subbed, mine pulls to the left too

Hi folks,

If you're still concerned about your alignment after your dealership has had the chance to inspect, then give me a shout so I can look into ways to help. What's the current mileage on your trucks?

I suggest to have the dealer set it like its set at the factory, with you sitting in teh drivers seat and have the fuel tank full, if they wont let you sit in it add enough weight to simulate you at the wheel and set it to factory specs. Camber/toe is the cause for tire wear and caster causes the vehicle pull. If your caster on left is 4.0 and the right is 3.5 it will pull left. More caster more resistance
