As for the ppt Smurf, my annual theft by taxation amount tops $6k for my paid-for, clear title toys. You can never actually own anything outright in Virginia if it has any value. The monarchy of Virginia can and will take it from you and sell it if you don’t pay the tax on it, your own property. Maybe if you cancel the registration you can keep it hidden from their claws?
