New Raptor on the cover of Car and Driver Magazine.

C&D is claiming 500HP is rumored. There is a nice shot of the front Fox shocks but it won't scan and other pics are probably on the web anyway.

Nice. I just hope it doesn't sound as crappy as that Lincoln with 3.5EB in 2015 Lincoln Navigator vs GMC Yukon Denali vs the Ike Gauntlet Towing Test (Part 1) clip I watched on YouTube.

Shouldnt be since this will be an all new 3.5L ecoboost in the Raptor and not the current 3.5L.

I would rather have 500 ft. pounds of torque and 450hp. Even losing 500 pounds, the Raptor still weighs in at 5500 pounds (screw) and more torque will help it move quicker.

And this is why the current Raptor has more torque than HP.

I wouldnt mind 500hp over the 450hp thats already been leaked!

Have to check it out. Looking forward to what the final product may really be and when we might also hear about a potential 5.0L TT. If the 3.5L Eco is going to be at least 450hp and up to 500hp what would a 5.0L Eco produce?!

I agree it looks better in person (HD video of the Detroit auto show) the pix don't really give you the full impact.

The current Raptor Screw weighs about 6,250. And I agree with you about more torque, and at a lower rpm would be great.
