Please do not take the truck that they ruined. Listen to everyone here!
Tell them to switch seats for no charge!

I agree, don`t take it. I ordered a Jeep that was supposed to have a painted hard top and it came in with a black hard top. They had a lesser optioned model on the lot with the painted hardtop that would be a simple switch. I went all the way up to the "Quoted" dealer manager and was told the same thing, they could not alter the vehicle from the original vin. They could add options but could not swap out wheels or tops, so at their cost or Jeeps cost they had to order a painted hard top for me which thankfully matched perfectly and they didn`t Eff it up changing it.

DO NOT BUY THAT.

Rubberized undercoating is an absolute fraud. It just holds salt/water against the parts to corrode beneath it. It's a guaranteed death sentence.

The Recaro package also has the carbon fiber trim. I love mine but can't vouch for the durability. How could they coat the shocks? That is a huge part of the appeal. Wow.

I’d find another truck. I personally love my Recaros. They look great, feel great, and give the truck a nice look which is different from the sea of black stock seats.

It sounds like you've already made the decision yourself, but to reiterate, do not pay for that truck. Not if they strip it off. No way. That truck is dead to you. Forget about it. It will never be fully right again. I know it's painful that you had it all worked out, but seriously, you will find what you're looking for. Hell, I looked at a fully optioned Performance Blue with Recaros in Boaz, AL before I bought my race red. They are out there. I think it was at Alexander Ford. It was a 2019 model.
