Just got back from the dealer with a new orange Raptor. The truck is almost fully loaded - everything but the nav system. I had a white truck on deposit but this one came in and I could not pass it up...
It is really a killer truck. I was somewhat forced into selling my 6-speed daily driver due to ongoing back problems (8 operations and counting). I was all set to be bored when I stumbled on the Raptor. I've been a GM biggot my whole life. While I will always be a Corvette fanatic (never selling my Z06), the Raptor sold me on buying a Ford. It is an awesome truck. The ride is great. The sound is great (almost good enough for me not to upgrade - well, not really). The interior is fantastic. The best thing is driving up behind people at lights and seeing that double-take in the rear-view.
I look forward to pestering you all with many stupid questions...
