Welcome to the forum, sweet ride!

Cool you have the kids racing XC, it’s great to teach them suffering and overcoming mental obstacles at such a young age.

I grew up racing motocross and have gotten deep into cycling/MTB in the last 15 years, Cat 2 and scared to make the jump to Cat 1 as I’m lucky to get 5 hours a week in the saddle.

I tell my wife that our kids will be racing MTB, not moto. I don’t know that I can watch my kid destroy his body like I did mine.

Make sure you dive deep into the Gen 3 forums, you can find a lot of things to look for to get fixed before your warranty is up. I had to get a number of things straightened out when I got the truck, but it’s been bulletproof ever since! Enjoy.

Hey all - new member here from Houston. Just got a gen 3 a few months ago and absolutely love it (other than ford build quality!). I had a gen 2 Raptor as well and happy to be back. I have 3 kids and we all ride and race cross country mountain bikes so get a ton of use out of it!

Hopefully you got that locked up tight or in a well secured area. Keep reading reports on Raptors being stolen in the Houston area.

Awesome! Yes, love XC racing even though I'm somewhat new to it. Just like you, have raced Cat 2 but that may be my ceiling with similar training hours - can get up to 6 or 7 in a big week, but generally 4-5 hours. Kids love it and oldest is joining NICA, which should fun! I'll look further into warranty stuff for sure.
