well the heads and cams are on the truck and the shop has been tuning it but the results are way off what i was hoping would be possible. I know the larger wheels and tires and gears would bring down the whp numbers. The shop said ive lost power. they are calling Livernois now to try and get more advice on the reason for the power loss. right now this is looking like a big waste of money.

On a NA application with the Stage 1 kit you can see 30 to 50 rwhp gain with Tune and headers. (This is with 35" tires)
The Stage 3 Heads and Cam setup shines when you add a Supercharger though.

I will add that the Livernois cam profile is more for a Raptor Tune calibration.
Since yours is a F250 the PCM Tune calibration profile is quite different, then with your 4.88 gears.
On a Raptor, going from 35" to 37" tire a one step up to 4.56 will keep thing close.
You are going from 3.73 to 4.88 with only a 34" tire.
Everything is going to be way off in the calibration as far as thrust output values from the tranny.

Your tuner is going to have to get really and I mean really creative.

Nobody can Tune the truck with the Livernois cams but Livernois,
they in conjunction with the help of Ford calibrator engineers, have developed a preparatory Tune using the My Calibrator system.
But you didn't hear that from me, that would be against the law and Ford does not play.

Having said that, Livernois does give a hand or at least have giving a had to some when trying to Tune for the cams with the SCT platform.

Also, are using the Cam Phaser lockout kit or kept it stock?

Another question, are you using the rear O2 spacers?

I see in an earlier post your thinking about ethanol, you're going to have to go e50 or e85 to see gains and then it's much larger injectors and a fuel pump upgrade or a boost-a-pump system.

I figured i would join after stalking the 6.2 threads. I have a 2016 F250 with a 6.2 that i have been going down the rabbit hole with performance mods. Recently just switched from a 5 star 93 tune to a truly custom tune. I'm looking at doing some more indepth mods and getting advice from the more experienced people on here.
I'm sorry for the late greetings but welcome to the forum :)

so basically the guy i talked to was just talking shit and more interested in a sale then being helpful and these are a waste of money on super duty that isnt going to be boosted

4.88 is stock gear option on cab and chassis super duty 6.2s. its why its so easy to adjust gear ratio in forscan
the nitto ridge grappler in 285/75/18 is actually 35.08".

when the shop i used called and tried speaking to their techs the answer was sorry cant help. When i called and talked to them they said they were supposed to get back to me.

its supposed to have the limiters installed

No spacers the check engine light is just turned off

the super duty is a flex fuel truck from factory. even before these heads max injector duty cycle i hit was 63%. plus that does even matter because the truck isnt needing any more fuel added. the AFRs are fine.
