got some packages today for the truck. now i have to get these installed and retuned.

well the heads and cams are on the truck and the shop has been tuning it but the results are way off what i was hoping would be possible. I know the larger wheels and tires and gears would bring down the whp numbers. The shop said ive lost power. they are calling Livernois now to try and get more advice on the reason for the power loss. right now this is looking like a big waste of money.

well after my shop called Livernois. I can officially say i'm disappointed in the lack of help and feel this was a waste of money.

Well, that is really disappointing to hear. All that money and you went the wrong way, how the **** does that happen?

no clue, same octane gas and ethanol content was within 2-3%, similar weather and re calibrated the dyno just to be sure. there are no codes truck runs fine. But when the shop was talking to the tech at livernois he got no help other then good luck. The strangest part was at WOT there was no need to adjust the fuel tables. Makes no sense why fueling didnt need to be adjusted.
Livernois has a very good rep...if they sell the cams in volume and your tuner is having an issue getting it dialed in, you may need to bring it to them to figure out what's being missed.

Also, Livernois is a vender on this Forum, you could ask them on here for some help. Maybe the guy your guy was talking to was the wrong guy to talk to.

so it almost seems like static compression went down which is why no more fuel was needed at WOT. I cant remember if the combustion chambers are ported. The shop and i are even willing to have them remote tune the truck, maybe that is an option. shipping my truck to Michigan is not in the cards.

I hope this works out! There is usually high horsepower gains with their heads and cams.

yeah im just confused was hoping for some decent gains. the only codes the truck has are cat inefficiency codes and i got those after the header install. Shop rechecked the timing last night to be sure that wasnt an issue.
