No BS, this is what he is saying. It only makes sense that the raptor is going to scrap the garbage 3.5 L eco-boost engine. It belongs in your mom’s sedan, not a high-end performance truck. It makes pathetic power.

Your posts are "BS". Anyone who claims a 450HP twin turbo engine with 510 lb-ft of torque is "underpowered" in a Raptor is either ignorant or just plain trolling. The Gen 2 3.5 is a truck engine; the only car it's used in is the GT. I support you think that's "garbage" too?

Really... the GT makes 660 HP. If the Raptor was making that power it would be great.

When you have the TRX running around making 702 HP, ****** all over the underpowered 450 HP Raptor.... that is not good enough. The thing is, the 3.5 is making no power even when tuned. Guys with upgraded turbos are still making less than 500 WHP. That is pathetic.

You’re not making any sense. The fact that Ram came out with the 702HP TRX doesn’t all of a sudden make the current Raptor “underpowered” by any sense of the word. As far as power potential, with just a tune Raptors are running low 4 second 0-60 times. Clearly you don’t have a clue about these engines if you think they can’t even make 500WHP.

Check out @Guy thread with his Stage 4 setup; he can’t even get traction to 60 in 4WD. @zfgracing

How so... because I am not saying the 3.5 Raptor engine is incredible???

No, I am not crazy about it.

You are entitled to your opinion. But when you start making ridiculous statements claiming it’s “underpowered” and “garbage” and cant make over 500HP, you sound ignorant and lose all credibility.

We get it...obviously you’d prefer a $100,000 Gen 3 with a 700HP Predator...but that doesn’t take anything away from the current truck.
