Greetings. Proud owner of a 2019 (802A, carbon fiber), but also had a 2014 prior. Signed up to get some of the dreaded cam phaser info. Truck has had both of the recalls done but here lately has been ticking a little on start up. Keeping my fingers crossed its just because the oil change is due. Thanks-

People overhype the **** out of it. Its getting annoying. Its warranty till 80k. Vast majority of 2019s are good to go. You should be fine? mines and 2019 also and its running like a clock no issues. Enjoy man best truck i ever owned.

Welcome to the place, congrats on your Gen 2, we need pictures!! Cam phasers are prorated to 100,000 miles warranty. There is lots of credible info here on the issue, @FordTechOne has laid out the proper procedure for getting the repair process performed at any dealer, many times.

A light tick on startup is normal, the high pressure fuel pump is at maximum pressure and the turbocharger wastegate linkages are cold. Cam phaser rattle lasts 2-5 seconds and is not a light tick.

Here ya go. I've had it about a year now. Thinking about pulling the bedside graphic off, but it nice having something help protect the paint.
