New 24', oil smell after driving

I got the raptor a few weeks ago and it has around 600 miles. It's totally stock. Recently I've noticed that after driving, even standing near the back of the truck in the garage I can smell oil. It smells like it's coming from the engine bay but I've looked around a few times and I've seen no leaks. No drips or spots on the garage floor or on the skid plates underneath the engine. Checking the dip stick it is full. I've heard that you can get oil vapor smell through the intake, but this obvious?

Are you sure its not the lubricants and other manufacturing fluids that are used during assembly that isn't burning off? You'll smell stuff burning off for probably 1000 miles.

Could be, but the braptor I had previous to this (also was new) never had such an obvious hot oil smell.

I have noticed this too and have seen no drips on the garage floor or signs of a leak under the hood. I have 1,500 miles on mine.

Funny you mention that, I don't recall my bronco producing any smell when new either.

My wife’s Raptor R had that smell for a couple of hundred as it diminished over time. The first 50-100 were pretty stinky, now nothing with 1500+

I wonder if the fridge (1 degree this morning) somehow make it worse. Is been super cold here.i don’t remember noticing it when i first got it.

So uhh...Is your wife looking for friends? I am about 30 miles south of you. I'd love to hang out with an R.
Also, if you're looking for a mistress. I'd be happy driving any old Gen 3.
Finally, what are you driving if not the R?
