Just wanted to check in and make my first obligatory post here. Picked this beast up a few days ago and loving it so far.

Did ceramic window tint all the way around and ordered rear wheel liners, bed rug, shorty antenna and a few other accessories.

This motor feels like it could really use a tune to uncork it. Hoping someone makes a tune for the Gen3s soon.

Sounds like a GT-R wide open, it's awesome.

Thanks gents. Is ceramic coating with a few grand or is it a waste of money on an off-road truck like this? My colleague had his Trackhawk ceramic coated and is trying to talk me into it. Seems like a lot of money for not much return. A good quality polish and wax should protect the paint and keep it glossy, no?

Great looking truck!!

What I’m about to share, is just my two cents and everyone should do their own due diligence prior to spending a dime…

I got my 2024 Avalanche Gray ceramic coated three months ago and have no regrets. IMO, it was worth the money. The only thing I would caution you on is tuning the engine. I’m in the camp that the more you throw at it and the harder you work a turbo engine, the shorter its life expectancy. I put mine in Sport Mode occasionally and enjoy the hell out of it. Lastly, I only use 100% synthetic motor oil and I change it every 3000 miles.

Have FUN!
