anyone know what the passenger rear shock is mounted toward the front of the truck but the drivers side is mounted toward the rear of the vehicle?

From earlier in the thread.

"Suspension geometry changes were aimed at reducing axle wind-up, which is an engineer-y term for the binding that causes shakes, shudders, and other sh…tuff you don't want. They went to staggered outboard shock mounts—one located ahead of the axle and one behind—and also aligned the engine and pinion better, allowing the use of one-piece aluminum driveshafts in many cases where Ford used two-piece steel units in the past."

The rear shocks are staggered like this on the 2015 F-150 also.

The Best part about the 2017 Raptor is that there will be another Raptor. Everyone has been bitching, speculating and wondering if Ford will build another Raptor. And now you know so we move on and bitch about the EB.

The worst thing about the 2017 Raptor is having to deal with all the bitching about NO V8 and having to deal with all these post until 2017. GRRR!!!!!

Relax guys, I am sure Ford will do the EB TT justice. If the EB TT comes in at 450HP and 500ftp of torque then I will be very happy. I personally like the new body. It makes the current body look old.

I am more worried about IWE and Power steering rack than the EB TT.

Regardless, at the end of the day, we will all vote with our wallets. :)

I'm not crazy about the TTV6 but I do like the new truck and am just hopeful for a few tweaks in the final production truck. I do think when numbers like 450hp and over 500ft/lbs in a 500lb+ lighter truck starts becoming reality, more will come around. It's definitely grown on me over the past few days though. I'm not on the waiting list yet but I did put my sales gal on notice that they'll earn my business if they give me another one at invoice! She said they see no reason why I can't get another great deal. Now it's ultra saving mode because I'm not giving up my 2013!

I am glad to see a 2017 Raptor. But the thing I hate the most that no one has mentioned is the push button start. Those things just stink. Can't believe they would screw up a truck with one.
