Need Opinions on Bead Lock wheels

Hi all. I need some help on a decision on some bead lock wheels. I found a set of the forged ones with an orange ring. My 2018 Raptor is the blue color. My seats have the orange accents so, theoretically, the rims match the seats. I'm just not sold on that much orange. I found these for a steal ($600 for the set). I was thinking to sandblast and powder coat the orange part to a different color.

A couple questions:
1. Has anyone powder coated this outside ring? If so, were there any issues getting it all back together?
2. What color do you suggest I change the outer ring to?

Yeah I believe these are from the factory like this. I love orange....just not sure.

You could powder coat the rings or spray bomb them. I don’t think the cure will deform the rings.

Plastidip is a good option too.

You could try trading them as well.

The orange rings look good on there and should look good with the seats. Run them for a bit, and then Plastidip them if you don't like it. If the Plastidip works and you like the color, paint or powder coat them. Or just keep the dip as it may last for a good while.

I'll have to look into Plastidip. I just bought them with the intention of changing the color so I won't be trading them yet.

I literally ran it on our Gen 1 Fender Flares and rear bumper for nearly 2 years. The flares got beat up a bit on the inside edge from rocks and debris getting kicked up. But the rest of the flares and rear bumper looked mint even after 2 years. Was much cheaper than getting it all painted Hot Rod Black.

Plastidip will last 3 years, personal experience back in the day with a Nissan truck. Cant say after that, but it still looked like the day I applied it when I traded.

Gotta do something 'cause blue & orange just ain't gonna git it! I have the orange interior (which was a screw-up by Ford on the order) and black exterior. I have learned to live with the orange seats but I couldn't get laid if I had orange trimmed wheels. Well, maybe on Halloween...
