Yea that’ll do it. As Idaho mentioned, the damaged section of the wires will need to be cut out and the wires will need to be soldered back together. It’s critical that the solder penetrates the strands; it can’t just be on the surface of the wires or there will be high resistance. If your not skilled in wiring repair you may want to bring it to a shop to have them fix it. Also note that generic heat shrink tubing from an auto parts store can allow water to migrate into the joint; only use Ford/Motorcraft heat shrink tubing, which contains a glue that seals the ends of the tubing when heated.

Thanks, I appreciate all the help! Any advice on what fuses to check?

Well I sucked it up and took it to the dealer who surprisingly was able to fit me in. $300 later and I'm back to normal haha. Certainly the most expensive hood closing I've ever experienced! Won't make that mistake again. Thanks everyone for the help.
ya wuss. should have saved the $300 and done it yourself. thats a tank of gas now days

Do you know what they did to fix it? I have the same exact codes from the front bumper Barnes being ripped but has been repaired now. Was it a fuse?

Start with F36 in the Battery Junction Box (BJB), which is in the engine compartment. It provides power to the turbocharger bypass valve, oil pressure control solenoid, and cabin heater coolant pump.
Where is F36 in the box? When I look up the diagram it skips from fuse 34-37, and none of them are labeled for those things
