I've got a brand new 2018 sitting in the garage and the fact that these things are uneven at the top (door's are perfect), is driving me nuts. I've seen a couple of other raptors that look similar, but not as bad; and the black one that was just as bad as mine didn't show as bad because, well - everything was black.

Anyways, I figured this thing was 3M'd on and I would destroy it trying to get some fishing line or something behind it to get it off. I ordered a new driver's rear piece from the local ford dealer and it actually looks like it may slide on and be held in place by bolts, not sure.

Looking for some help here guys. Anybody ever removed/replaced or able to find a link showing me how I can resolve this issue. I don't mind taking it to a body shop but if it's not to big of an ordeal I'll for sure tackle it right here in the garage.

ANY input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Mine was misaligned, dealer fixed it right up in a day.

Would have went that route bet came out better using it as a bargaining chip along w/ a couple of other things that needed to be resolved before I was willing to take her home. Resulted in a 2018 w/ 802a, carbon fiber package, etc., under sticker;-) so I have no issue w/ taking it to more qualified people than I’d find at this particular dealership.
These plastic pillar pieces were also badly swirled by this dealership’s detail group as well. Luckily I was able to buff those out.

I think I’m gonna go the vinyl route. Anybody done this yet? Not necessarily going w/ the carbon fiber look or anything, I’d just ultimately like to have a look that’s not swirled all to hell, lol.
