Installing a bed cover this weekend, and will be installing lights under it. Anyone found a constant hot wire in the bed so I tap my lights into it?
Thanks

here, on frf
you can try the constant in the trailer plug, but depending on how much current you are drawing, you may just need to run a new wire from the battery

2A is not much at all. I would tap into the existing lights and then they would run off the same switch.
I am installing a diamondback bed cover that opens in the front. One of the lights will be there, so going and opening the tailgate to turn the lights on doesn’t really work. Want to have constant power to the lights so I can operate them on their own
