Worth noting as was mentioned early in the thread “void” is a misnomer. The tune would have to be the determined cause of the part failure that the warranty was being applied against.Kinda. It voids the factory but then the FP warranty kicks in to match what the factory was. It’s still unknown, at least to me, if it impacts extended ones.
Exactly. No modification voids your warranty. Even directly related systems aren't automatically void. If you get an oil pan leak after a tune, they'll probably fix it even though its part of the engine. I think a lot of this ultimately comes down to the dealer, my closest dealer will be the first to try to deny anything.Worth noting as was mentioned early in the thread “void” is a misnomer. OEMs do like to use tunes as a leverage point to deny warranty. However in practice it’s much less likely ford would point the finger at itself and will probably set a high bar for warranty denial for FP tuned vehicles. Last thing they want is to embarrass themselves. Still it’s possible, all part of the risk reward calculation….
probably they can not break into their own ecu, hang tight brodonskiif there is any news on 2024s please share!
Sure seems that way....Im still holding the conspiracy that they really don't want to give people a full 3 year 36 mile warranty....Easier to just pass it out 2 years later when now its basically a 1 year 12K mile warranty.probably they can not break into their own ecu, hang tight brodonski
