What are the odds we can record the front camera video once we get it activated?
How badass would that be?

that all depends, you would have to wire that camera to a computer of some sort. maybe a signal amplifier since you would have split the signal in two. im sure it can be done, its just a matter how deep ones pockets are

Hmmm, wasn't expecting it to be that painful. Considering this thing already has a hard-drive built in and can decode video. Should just need a tweak to the software, right? Isn't that what these two systems do for the most part, tweak the software? With some hardware mods obviously.

so i just spoke with nav-tv and they do have a unit coming out soon that will force the front camera. they said hopefully by the end of the week. however the cost of the unit from what i was told will be $500 to $600. they would not give me any info on what they did to rewire the system, bu they did confirm that they did do it and that it was pretty much the same process that i had posted earlier. they also let it slip that the front camera needs a different power source because the camera switches off over 20 mph. so until i get a willing volunteer i wont be able to post a how to diy for everyone. but i will continue to find out as much as possible. i have other sources that might be able to help
