it allows video in motion, unlocks your nav, so you can have full access while driving. this works great when you have a passenger who can work the nav while you are still driving. it saves from having to use those crappy voice controls or having to stop the vehicle. it also allows viewing of the front and rear camera at ANYTIME.

there is one, however i need to make a new one since there are slight differences with the new modules. both with 2012 and 2013. very slight differences, andyou all should be able to see them, but to avoid confusion, if there is a local member who wants it done, feel free to stop by.

As long as it's mostly the same process, I'd like to check it out.

Really Dumb question Busa, but can I watch DVDs while driving too?

depends on what year you have... pre '13 have the dvd player built in after '13 they gave us a spot to plug a cable into.

but yes you can do video in motion with the nav tv only thing is if its a '13 you would have to hook a dvd player up to it instead of just inserting a dvd into the dash

nope. the wire harness is completely different. it would take way to much time and money to swap radios. even though sync and my ford touch are basically the same thing, a radio swap would not be very cost effective, if at all possible.
