Just spoke with my dealer and he stated that if you are not assigned a vin and or build date by Sept 15th when MY22 order banks open they will automatically rollover into a 22 Raptor.

Any 2021 order that has not been built by the end of the model year build, will automatically roll over to a 2022 when the 2022 order bank opens.

I also asked if we would be able to add new options or change the order if new features are added and he said yes!!

Yes, we could add any additional features they add for 2022 model year

Isn't it if your dealership received a MY21 Gen3 allocation then you are guaranteed it to be a MY21. Doesn't make sense that Ford would convert a MY21 allocation to a MY22, but stranger things have happened LOL.

My dealer has a guy on the inside with them and thats was he said so I’m very excited. I don’t mind waiting now that it’s been so long. I sold my raptor on June 10th

I've been keeping an eye on the Bronco situation and it's possible they may shift it but the Raptor production seems to be moving a bit smoother without all the QC issues.

Why would the original dealer allocations matter at all? I don't think anyone is really guaranteed anything yet...perhaps with a customer/ dealer agreement that is contingent on Ford being able to deliver, but that's it. And since Ford can't deliver, it is what it is. If a customer really wants there Raptor to be MY21, then refuse a MY22, then they can surely back out of the deal.
