I'm sure that by now you have cleaned it up to your satisfaction and you may not ever smell it except on a hot day when the truck has been parked outside in the sun for a couple hours, but deep down in the carpet there are organic molecules that no automotive engineer intended to be there. Your truck was new but now it will never, ever be the same. There is no un-puking it. This is forever.

By my lights you should get to leave the toilet seat up for as long as you live, and she doesn't get to complain about it, mention it, or even resort to a heavy sigh when she has to (OMG!) configure the toilet seat for her use.

To answer your “real” question take the carpet out on that side and replace it and you will not have the forever oder some are stating you”ll have. You took your wife out for the day and indulged yourselves in libations. She had an accident which is easily fixed. Take care of it. NEVER exspose your spouses humility or self esteem to the public to get stupid cracks back from them. She deserves more from you.

You can pull the seats and trim and remove the carpet. Once it’s out you can power wash it to remove any organic matter and let it dry. It will be fine with no more smell.

Team, looking for some advice here. My wife just puked in my less than 6 week old Raptor. No joke. I don’t know how to handle this. I’m at a loss for words. I took her to the western part of VA for her birthday...did a bunch of taste testings at some wineries...ended up with Linden Vineyards Chardonnay all over my passenger side mat and onto some of the carpet.

She says she feels really bad, but I don’t know where to go from here. I’ve read about unforgivable sins and not sure where this falls. Looking for some guidance.

Heck,Puking is how I found my 1st wife..!! I'm 18 yo,dated a gal a couple times...and we go to some town dance...she proceeds to puke ALL OVER,told her she didnt need that last glass of wine...lol...she proceeds to go to bathroom and I'm standing in a pile of puke and people I know are saying was that your GF that just puked....well,just a "date"....she comes out and tries to snuggle up and give a kiss that almost made ME puke...told her its time I take you home.....Dropped her off,went back,and meet my future wife...15 good years,and she never puked once...LMAO..!

Well it’s your wife, just have the car clean up and get over with it. Then whatever mod you put on , if she complains , tell her cuz she puked on it LoL

Go to any pet store and get a stain and odor remover. Make sure it has bacteria and it will get rid of all the smells. Keep a damp rag over it to help the process. I used this when we broke a bottle of win in the back. Good luck!!
