All though I can't recall seeing it on a stock truck before, this certainly isn't something new. Trophy trucks(hence the title) have been doing this for many years. We've even talked about doing something similar to the Sport Trac when we do an LS swap.

I love the fact that the OP did it to his truck, looks amazing. Great job

Yeah saw that, just wondering it is was enough. Is the exhaust running all the way down to the rear or does it turn up at the front of the bed? I see the gas tank and exhaust next to it hence why asking.

It turns up just forward of the bed, that flexible is on about a 45 degree angle upwards towards the bed...then it comes through the bed right at the front where you see the in-bed pics.

That's the exact truck that gave me the idea.

Sounds good! Do you have a small drain hole for the moisture that will connect at the elbow where it goes from being straight to up in the bed?

There is a small drain hole on the aft end of the flexible...which is on a 45 degree angle...should do the trick. i can always modify if it doesn't. I figure I can see how much water is accumulating every time I start it.

I would say that due to the number of right angles, this exhaust setup may be more restrictive than the factory exhaust system.

I had an engineer at work run some flow numbers based on diameter of the pipes, flow restrictions of the bends etc...same equations we use for oil and gas pipelines but on a smaller scale. It flows more CFM than the stock system...according to the Big Brain.

Now you need some Kooks Long Tube headers to make that beast throaty!

I agree. I'm think some headers would really open that up. Might have to drop in a res with it though.

Sounds awesome! I'm not sure how many more mods you're gonna need though if that is your normal driving!!!

I know it's cold right now, but do you think your gonna have any regrets when it's time to open the back slider and let some fresh air in? Wasn't sure how much exhaust would be dragged in to the cabin.....

No intention of using the back slider...should be ok.
