My trip to the Baja 500

This year was a blast. I drove in on Saturday morning through Tecate and took El Compadre south to the point where the race turned east bound! El compadre is a fun drive.
@treypal were you in the truck at this point? RM 60ish?

I wasn't in the truck there, but I did wreck a Raptor on Compadre Trail once.

Looks like you guys made a good run around the track. There's always such excitement as the competitors leave Ensenada, how bout those crowds. The course for this 500 was much of the same course that is used in the 2008 B1k Raptor video. You want a butt clencher try going down the La Rumarosa switchbacks. Miss the edge , you go a loooong way down quickly. Sure do miss being a part of these events, hope to get the Raptor down there soon, racin' or running. The Baja is the best place to be. '04 B500 7sx champ, seems like a lifetime ago......

Can anyone identify the noise at 1:05 and 2:00 in video 2? It's coming from the rear of the truck but I can't figure out what it is. I just had my rear Icon shocks rebuilt, so it's not that.

Yeah, mine is shot but I only hear a slight cluck on a good pot hole hit.
I can't believe we have to take the bed off to replace that.
And the stories of dealers messing up your truck taking the bed off, has me putting off fixing it.

The two funny whoop noises. Kinda sounds like a squeaky old door. I just took the truck back to Outlaw and they say the problem is my leaf springs.

I was almost going to say it could be that cab dampers I've seen some pretty rusted up ones on here, were did you have the mic placed.
