This year was a blast. I drove in on Saturday morning through Tecate and took El Compadre south to the point where the race turned east bound! El compadre is a fun drive.
@treypal were you in the truck at this point? RM 60ish?

Had an amazing time. We drove the first 60 miles of the race course in my Raptor the day before the race. I saw tons of Raptors out there. The black one in the pics is my buddy's truck. Here's some pics and videos:




Here's the video of us on the race course. Can anyone identify the noise at 1:05 and 2:00? It's coming from the rear of the truck but I can't figure out what it is. I just had my rear Icon shocks rebuilt, so it's not that.

No idea. Sounds like a noisy screen door, lol. Maybe rear springs or shackles need lube.

I tried spraying some Corrosion X on the springs but it didn't really help. Maybe needs more.

Load it up on the shackles too. I had some creaking in my new camburg shackles. Lubed the shit out of them and they're all good now.

Check your shock mounting bolts. My passenger side lower was loose and the shock was moving making a similar noise.

Looks like a blast. I want to make it down there for a race someday soon.
