You are right, labor is included in that. I went to the Mcallen dealership, right next to the expressway in front of Home Depot. I appreciate you fellas keeping an eye out for the crook. My phone died this last night, I went fishing again @ S.P.I. A shit load of people. Didn't have time though to go to the beach and **** the constables off again, lol

Parts= 3,673.02
Body Labor= $159.60
Paint Labor= $174.80
Paint Supplies= 119.60
Tax= $309.92

Total $4,400.94
BOGGUS FORD?!?!!
No wonder they are charging that much! Do not take it there, they ****** me over bad at Boggus. They scratched my paint on the doors when replacing the roof(hail damage) as well my side mirrors housings(?), the body shop manager said thats damage from brushes due to me offroading. As well they scratched the interior, replaced door/window molding with damaged ones and to top it off they finished it without notifying me and called in to the insurance that it was done so the insurance stopped paying for the rental. Not once did they bother calling me that it was done and the GM there said thats not their fault, **** them.
Go to a place called Eagle Auto on N23rd and Oxford, my friend Chris owns it and can help you out. Tell him I sent ya.

I had the dealer install a PowerGate before I even picked up my truck. I love it - autolocks/unlocks with the doors. I keep my Retrax locked, so stealing the tailgate would prove extremely difficult.

Geeze, that's awful.
What's the body labor for - adjusting the new lock to accept your ignition key?

Guys, you can't go to the Ford Parts counter and buy a complete tailgate.
You have to order every part seperate. Also it comes raw steel and has to be prep'ed, primed, painted to match body color and then assembled.

Way ahead of you, I just made Boggus give me the quote so that I could show it to the adjuster. I got my check yesterday in the mail. They actually paid all the parts to it as if NEW The adjuster that works for Geicko helped me out for having "a sick raptor". So i got $3,900. (4,440 - $500 deductible). So I went to a friends shop who also works at Boggus Ford because he has a brand new tailgate but with no camera. So He is charging me $600 for the tailgate + $200 for the camera = $800. I was thinking of the tiregate but I think I'll wait till Dec for it since we have only one truck right now and will need it to move stuff the rest of the year. So Thanks Thief for the $3,100.

Nice. That definitely has to take the sting out of the theft!

Glad it worked out for you! I would be super rattled if my tailgate got stolen. I am going to be keeping it locked for sure.
