I’ve had my Raptor for six months today, and while I was out on my drive it rolled over 6,000 miles. In six months I’ve learned a lot about owning something other than a 3/4 ton Ram truck. I’ve really grown to love this truck, and while there’s a couple of things I’d like like to see Ford change, there’s really not a lot to not like about this truck.
My Top 5 Favorite Raptor Features:
1- The Power of the EcoPoop (I’ve called it the EcoPoop for years, it’s a habit) is really impressive. For a full size truck, this thing gets up and moves.
2- The Fuel Economy is a huge step up from my last two trucks.
3- Creature Comforts are all over this truck. Adaptive Cruise, Heated/Cooled Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, etc
4- The seats are AMAZING. I’m 6’8” and these seats are the best I’ve ever had.
5- The truck is flat out the best looking truck on the road. Every time I park the truck and walk away I look back over my shoulder to look at it again.
Top 5 (probably petty) Complaints:
1- I’m not in love with the sound of the exhaust.
2- I wish the Homelink Garage Door Buttons lit up at night.
3- I wish there was a hard button for the heated steering wheel.
4- I’m not thrilled with how the safety chains hook up to the truck.
5- This color water spots real easy.
I’m sure there’s more I could say, but I’m really just preaching to the Raptor Choir. I’m looking forward to more miles and learning more from other members here on the forum.
