Hey guys,
I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong section as I am not very active on here.

Two weeks ago I installed 37" tires on my Raptor. Ever since installing them (at least I assume it is because of them) the car randomly bounces on certain roads. Almost like if the road is not straight or whatever it is then the car will bounce up and down at a very high frequency (by bounce I mean its a strong vibration, but not like that when you have your alignment off, but almost a feeling like your car is shaking up and own)

I've tried alignment, but the problem still persists. What could it be? Is it the shocks?

Any input/feedback would be much appreciated!

Could be shocks, you added some weight with those tires alone, how many miles/years are on the shocks? Could be tire balance, or a function of some 37's being difficult to balance (have seen a few threads about that here), might be worth starting there and/or trying a different shop for the balancing.

Lifted Jeeps seem notorious for "Death Wobble", sounds like what you're experiencing but in the case of the Raptor it's definitely an indication that something isn't right and can be fixed. Lots of helpful guys here, hopefully some will chime in, does it happen at low or high speed or only at a certain speed? Can you tell if it's more front or rear of the truck? Is it pavement/hardpack road? Did you do any mods to clear the 37's or mid perch the front shocks (if Gen1) or level the front springs (if Gen2)? Evidence of rubbing in wheelwells? Stock wheels or new aftermarket?

Yeah bro lots of people helping already!

Appreciate your feedback as well man.

My shocks are as they came, 2013, never re-built to be honest.

As for how I’m running it, I’m doing that on mid-perch, and I’ve got fiberwerx fenders on my truck so the clearance is fine.

The wobble is a nightmare man, almost makes you hate driving the truck.

Posting a picture of my truck below:

Looks great!!! She's probably waaay overdue for a shock rebuild or upgrade, even with low or average km's the seals are going to dry out over time, shock oil and nitrogen charge will leak and they won't be able to do their job, the extra weight of the bigger KO2's just makes it even worse. I would definitely start with shocks, perfect time to upgrade to 3.0's and if possible Deaver springs and bump stops for the rear if you run it hard offroad; I wouldn't recommend replacing with new stock 2.5's as they are expensive here and probably outrageous there. Rebuilding is a great option if you can do it yourself, or have a good shop that's done them before, shipping them out can be hit or miss no matter where you go so I'd consider that last. Hope you get it sorted, good luck!! :favorites13:
