I've been thinking about AMP steps for my truck as well. You can simply rest your foot on them when they're deployed and they will stay in the deployed position which will protect your vehicle from parked vehicles.

Or you could install a kill switch or use one of the high lifter switches.

I like the look and purpose of the OEM step but they sit to high for my needs. The truck will be my "normal" vehicle (compared to the others in the garage) that I can transport friends/family members around so having a lower step would be more more fitting for them.

It would have to be the entire seat also.

Sam

I am super curious about this conversion and if it would be worth it. Get one or two seats from a Lariat and just put the raptor seat cover over it. Sounds amazing on long drives.

Think about getting some PPF on the rear fenders and body near the gas door. I put amps on my 2013 and that area got shredded from kicking up rocks and gravel and shit. I'm going to leave the OEM on this truck.

Thanks. Looks like you're local. Know any good places that is not paved road that I can take the truck to?
Not yet... just bought mine in April so she's still a pavement queen for now. Back in the day, we use to run the power lines out at Beaverdam Reservoir - loads of fun, but not sure if you can still get back there. When I get a chance I'll run out there to see if we can still access the trails.
