My high mileage 2019 Gen 2 [advice needed]

Drive it and Enjoy it. Replace parts when necessary and proper maintenance is always key for longevity. Replacing parts is Still much cheaper than a New truck Payment. Hell mine is a 175,000 mile Gen1. I drive the crap out it cause I just LOVE driving the BEAST. Im now currently getting estimates to restore it. I rather put 25 grand into it and make New again then spend 80 grand or more for a truck Payment that would be equal to a Mortgage. Its a Machine made to be driven. Don't worry about mileage parts are replaceable, the fun and enjoyment it puts on your face and soul is not

A stock 3.5L Twin Turbo V6 and 10r80 engine/transmission/drivetrain in stock/OEM configuration (no tunes/no mods/maintenance per spec)—are respected as well engineered, durable, and efficient.

Note: TT V6 engines are well proven and solid, as quite a few manufacturers have adopted them in various displacements.

I agree completly. I have a 2018 with just over 51,000 miles and I do recommend services when due and so far no issues. Not even cam phasers. Did get the recall done though.

75k miles is not at all high mileage enough for any modern vehicle that’s been used as a commuter for in normal conditions. So long as you keep up on regular maintenance as suggested by the manufacturer, I wouldn’t worry about a thing.

My last truck was a regular F-150 that went 275k miles without a single hiccup. 200k miles less then that is damn near brand new.

Just be sure that you DON'T flush the transmission fluid as it not recommended on this vehicle and some that unknowingly did had transmission issues afterwards.

Drop the pan once or twice to get most of the old fluid out and change the filter.

Hes basically asking if hes going to get 110k miles out of an f150 if he does the maintenance. Its kind of a stupid question. Is basically asking to predict the future? Think about it… ive seen 3.5s whith 190k plus… and those are the 2010-2016 motors. The answer is obvious , take care of your **** and it will last. Maybe shorten intervals shorter than manufacturers regimine. A trans or an engine that is meticulously maintained having a major catastrophic failure is kind of remote. Youd likely see or hear a warning first. Take the money you would have spent on an esp and put it in the bank or a roth. If something happens take it out of that account…

just looked at the threads started/posted by "that guy".. might be best to just ignore him .

anyway, we understand your concerns. it would be best to just keep on top of regular maintenance and take care of your truck as much as you can.

don't prolong or skip recommended service intervals and periodically check your fluids, suspension and just do a weekly visual inspection around the truck.

if something doesn't sound right or if there's a change in how the truck drives or feel, then take the time to make sure everything is alright.

in the event that you encounter some issues through out your ownership, this place is a great resource and the forum members are always wanting to help resolve any issues or answer questions you may have.
