You may want to have the dealer check it out. Not sure if that sounds too normal. Maybe someone with an ‘18 can comment.

The cam phaser thing actually came up with my truck as well while it was at the dealership for an oil change.

They took care of it, as well as a few other things they noticed. It’s awesome that they were that attentive and also that warranty covered everything they did.

I had similar sounding issues when I bought mine used. One of the first things I did was get the adaptive transmission reset (saw lots on FRF about it).
Drove like a completely different truck after the dealer did the reset. It then learned to shift relating to my style of driving.

Looks great. I bought mine new, with 17 miles on it. Next month (September) will be two years, and I just hit 95,000 miles. Proper maintenance is the key to long life. I had an issue with some long shifts, hard shifts, and had my dealer reflash my PCM and it fixed all the issues. There's a TSB out for that, just in case you notice anything funky around the 3-4-5 or in and out of 8.
