This shit happens all the time here in Cali. The drivers are some of the best around (sarcasm). Best bet is to get over and let ******* go by. Then let loose the 50 cal you have under the hood.

best bet is just move over a lane, and not impede anyone elses travels.. you floored it to keep him from getting in front once he jetted over to the right. probably would have ended right there.

i def would not have pulled up along side in stopped traffic for a confrontation and you never know where the dude needed to be in such a hurry..

i drive pretty fast most of the time, but if someone wants to pass me, i happily move over to let them be on their way, and then continue on mine.

In Texas, especially outside of cities, some folks actually will pull over and let you by, even on 2 lane roads. The first time this happened, I was on my bike. Having lived all my life on the (l)east coast, I thought something was wrong, so I pulled in behind him on the shoulder - was going to go check on him and he waved me on. I rode off, thinking - hope they’re ok and they pulled back out after I took off. Then it happened again the same week. hmm... Then it kept happening so when they did pull off, I’d give them a wide berth and pass as politely as I could, and wave after.

Now, I’ve also had the opposite here, some lady clearly texting, weaving, 20 under the limit and WILL. NOT. PULL. OVER to let the line of cars a quarter mile long pass....

but you gotta keep cool.
No he wasn't. Plus, the OP started speeding up when the guy tried to go around him. Left lane is for PASSING ONLY.

If so, that is a total D!ck move, straight out of the kindergarten sandbox. I did not do a side by side time index.
@goblues38 : If you sped up to keep knucklehead peasant behind you, then be a grown @ss man. Save that for the track or for off roading.

Uh no. I was blocked by the Honda in front of me. I was trying to go 90 the Honda 60. When it moved right I sped up to pass it and go back to my speed of 80. By that time jack ass already moved right two lanes to pass. If I would have moved righ he would have hit me. Watch the tape again.

I can guess a lot on this incident.....but I'm going to filter myself on this one for sure. Are you in the south I haven't checked your profile, I can tell you this seems to be how many are growing up seeing there parents drive like this and doing this as soon as they get a license. Riding everyone's @$$....weaving in and out of traffic like crazy, driving speeds they surely can't control and are just waiting to cause a wreck, death, or road rage incident.
This happened in St Louis. From watching the video, I think he was on 44 traveling east, may have taken exit 282, then traveled north on Laclede Station Rd which turned into South Hanley Rd. The intersection at the end of the video is one that I pass on a normal basis. Drivers like the one in the Neon can be found from time to time in that area. A lot of traffic passes through that area to get to different businesses or to get to other highways. It’s also worth noting that here in Clayton, MO is the county seat and courts, so there are all sorts of people that are traveling to make court appointments or what not. From my office window, I have seen a lot of bad driving. I have also seen a lot of cool cars as well.

I'm not gonna comment on this specific scenario but I've learned its best to disengage with overly aggressive drivers ASAP. If I think they pose a real hazard to others, I'll report it to the local authorities, but beyond that I'm just trying to stay out of the way. You never know what other people are capable of and that's not a risk I'm willing to take.

I strongly suggest you refrain from engaging in an ego battle and/or verbal confrontation. It's not worth your life.

At 29 seconds in is where you should have moved right, the neon was still behind you at 35 seconds... plenty of time. Everything after 30 seconds of this video is you being an *******.
No. Like I said. My Final Cut skills are not that great. The switching back and forth between from and back are not in sync. By that time he had already moved right 2 lanes and came back to the lane on my right. No place for me to go.
