Received another update email from Ford today regarding my order. Supply chain, etc…., still causing delays. But order and allocation are confirmed so all good.

7/18 end of day order with allocation
Still unscheduled
Received supply chain issue email hour ago

I think if I paid a 20-30k adm I’d be upset but at msrp it could be worse

are you sure your dealer assigned his allocation to your order? dealer can have unlimited amount of orders in DORA but chose which to assign the allocation. hope you are not getting strung along

not sure exactly but was told the dealer contact ( dealer principle, gsm,gm or sales manager)chooses what customer order gets the allocation if at all ( also there are 2 types of orders. stock and retail ) stock = no customer on order retail= ordered in customers name . lots of variables and politics at the dealer level and some of the times customers are strung along imo. every time I order from the dealer level I ask the sales manager to show me his allocation email as insurance instead of relying solely on his word

I am in the same boat as @AntiMattersMost @BadWRP. I have my dealers allocation. But not all allocations for 23 are going to get scheduled right away. Hence why the people that just got production dates are for early to mid January.

Same thing happened for my Limited Super Duty this year. Order was submitted, but it took 6 months to get scheduled for production. I am fine waiting for the R. Hope it bodes in my favor where I can have a heated steering wheel.

Meanwhile I will enjoy my AMB 22 Gen 3. @AntiMattersMost I would not had sold my Gen 3 so early. Not selling mine until the R ships.

Yes confirmed allocation by store manager. When it comes to Ford pulling vins it’s luck of the draw. 2400 pickups are not gonna all get scheduled from November 1st to now. Some guys are just gonna have to wait. Sucks but what do you do?
