I am curious as to why is everyone so locked on getting Nav? I skipped it on the GT500s and now the Raptor. It's a fun toy, but there is no way I would have that option listed on the make it or break it requirement. My phone is all I have ever needed to get around. I find the whole system highly distracting while driving. All of the voice command and options are the same on both. You can still get turn by turn nav.

Well, I never got it on my Shelbys either, but now that I have it on my Raptor, Im in love! With the lockpick, a screen with night vision in motion and other things is pretty darn cool!

I dont have it on my GT500 but now wish I did after having it on my Raptor. Being able to look at a radar map to see what storms are ahead of me really sold me.

I totally agree, this is bad business for Ford to not have a backup plan. Also if I read that right there will be no more Tuxedo Black! If this is the case I will not be ordering a Raptor and could possibly order a 2012 Jeep GC SRT8. Ford will lose out on sales if this continues through out 2012.
Ah Im really disappointed now.

I mostly prefer the touch screen and its center button/knob configuration. Also some of the places I get sent out in the Agricultural field have some of the worst cell service around, if any at all so the NAV is very helpful then.

I prefer this:

Sounds fair, guess I am in the minority on this one :).

To be totally honest I could get used to the non-nav console setup if it meant having a Raptor or not, but if I am paying for a Raptor I would prefer it to have all the features I want.

If I was looking at another FX4 it would be the same way, but with the much lower price I could probably swing a full blown audio upgrade even while building our house and sitting on the old one still.

You can look at radar with it? I just spent 28 hrs driving 1600 miles and absolutely loved the nav!
