Stubby antenna

I'm going to ask a lot of noob questions and my work firewall is blocking the search function for some reason. Is there a particular antenna that most people are getting? I don't like experimenting and in this case, prefer to just follow the herd. :)

Searched Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0073WDPEQ/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

I assume that's the one ?? Sorry, I thought stubby was just an adjective, not the brand name. ;)

Is this the undisputed/unanimous best cover you can get? New to the forum here, I'm sure this has been discussed plenty.

If your looking for what I feel is the best rollup cover, then "Truck Cover USA" is hard to beat. All metal, has the smallest rollup box, and has a durable textured finish. This is my second truck with this cover and as of now, I will put one on my next truck.

Wow, I like the looks of that. I'm a travel baseball coach (feels like a "full time" coach) and end up with a lot of gear in the back with kids in the back seat preventing storage there. I definitely want something with a hard cover that's water proof. I used to have a soft velcro one on my first lariat (couple trucks ago) and that thing never stayed secured. I don't mind spending the money to have the best, most convenient option.

Is this the one you're referring to?

Aftermarket wheels were a must for me. I don't like the standard OEM wheels or the OEM beadlock capable wheels.

Yes, thats it. Although rollup covers are not waterproof, this one works real well. I usually get a slight dampness in the corners. I appreciate being able to lockup my hunting stuff (heck, any stuff) instead of moving it to the cab which can be hard if you have 4 people or just leaving it in the bed and putting your trust in everyone . ha

Even before I bought my new Raptor, my top two must have truck mods have always been.

1) Rubber non-skid bed mat
2) Good aftermarket floor mats/liners

For the thousandth time. I have a gen 1.... specifically bought it because of the ecoboost horror stories which ironically are happening in this ecoboost now too. I chose to spend my money wisely, and did not want to waste time with it always in service. The leaking oil pan fiasco, as well as the number of misfire complaints is alarming in itself.

If you really do own a Gen1 you still need to...

****

Go "spend your money wisely" in a Gen1 forum. Again, ****, you're not wanted or needed here

I had the truck cover USA on my gen 1 raptor. The rear seal eventually wore and tore off and after that, every time it rained I'd get water in my bed.

I went with a gatortrax for my 2017 and I like it much better. I love the fact that it can be locked in any position. And I also like that there is no strap to pull it closed. When I had the ******** my last truck it was always getting caught up and tangled in whatever I had in the bed. Sure it works fine if you have an empty bed, but it was kind of a hassle when hauling stuff.

Here is the one I have now:

This one has been 100% waterproof for me for a year now.
