Became a supporting member 2 weeks ago and messages the guy for my sticker, haven't heard a thing. You know if anything has changed?

Be patient, the graffx shop is a one man show and he is supposedly very busy. But yes, bird will help out as well and he is very quick.

On topic, the things that have made a big difference are:
- rear springs
- 5 Star Tune
- Bakflip
- bumpers and lights

I got the RPG HD Nationals and it's one of the best things I've done to the truck, should have done it sooner. I have a screw and have 100 lbs in the bed and the ride is much smoother on and off road. I towed a 4,000 lb trailer no problem and the rear dropped less than 1 inch with that much weight. You will be happy with the HD springs and at mid perch it sits almost level with the rear just a bit higher.

what you don't think modding the driver to work properly is a necessary mod

Great info. Thanks all!

Offroading here is actually pretty easy

Barstow / Ocotillo / Anza / California City etc.

Yea. That's Raptor country for sure and a "destination" for me rather than a regular playground. I'm about 50 gallons north of you on the coast.

If you are on pavement which you seem to be then you don't really need the headers and tubes....just order 5star tuner from Mike (5Star vendor on here) and get a CAI module.

That's it- will give you plenty of sound. Performance wise the engine is plenty powerful as is however talk to StainlessWorks they are very helpful with questions on sound etc....

I have a Volant CAI and the sound is perfect for me. But for more power you'd need to talk to the guys who do this for a living and see what you can do.

If you are on pavement then I would go with cosmetic mods like the vinyl work, LED lighting, tires and wheels....depends on how deep your pockets are with that.

You don't need suspension upgrades for camping though- don't waste the $$

You'd don't need headers for street lol. Last I heard it doesn't matter if headers are street or dirt, its a preference of sound and the power of an extra 50hp pretty much. 5 star tune isn't gonna make a difference in sound. In torque and power yes and performance. Headers are gonna make a big difference in sound and power, specially stainlessworks headers, sounds awesome. Damn all those sport cars out there wasting there money on headers on the street!

I said he doesn't need headers if he is on pavement.

Also, if he gets CAI he needs a tuner to calibrate the engine to the difference in air intake. It's not just for sound, it's for performance as well.

My point. Headers for pavement lol. I was messing with you because of your observation on headers. Mostly every sports car has headers due to it being a sound difference and performance on street. Tell him to get a ump. No tuner for that. That's what I run and it runs perfect! But apparently you know it all it looks like for the amount of offroading u have done and time of being here :).
