Hello All, I am finally in the Raptor world and happy to be in a GEN 2. I bought a basically new GEN2 with only 8K miles on it so I am trying to gather as much info from you owners with lots of pain free miles lol.
Goal of this post is to get my head wrapped around any of the MUST DO type mods or upgrades that people have learned over the years of ownership.
My truck is a 2020 Crew cab with every single option from the factory including the Blue Interior. Lead Foot in color, parked inside and babied by the original owner and now mine.
Goals are to get it level in the front with a little rear low baja rake ( No so cal lean just some rake for looks) and considering running 37's but not sure I want to hack on the inner fenders so I could stick with 35's.
I daily drive the truck to and from work on the highway and through the city and plan to use it for fire road excursions here in the Colorado Rocky Mountains so not just a pavement princess. Thanks ahead of time

Really just a tune. Everything else is just personalization. These trucks aren’t slapdash piles of parts bin stuff. It’s a solid flagship truck to begin with.

Tune is the only “must do” b/c it alters the performance of the truck so dramatically & it’s been proven by many many owners a tune alone on these vehicles doesn’t seem to cause any issue at all. Better mpg & more power.

And make sure you turn the dam running boards around !!
Is that a thing that people do? I'm assuming it's because of the crap that gets thrown up through them, right? Do you have any info on doing that, or pics of what it looks like after? Is it just a straightforward 'unbolt from one side, bolt it onto the other' type of thing?

8, 10mm bolts, swap sides and done. A tune really helps. Leave the rest stock for reliability.
