If I dumped it after the axle would there be any drone?

I wouldn't recommend going after the axle if you offroad.

I have my magnapack dumped basically under the backseat and it drones a lot around 2,000rpm not bad any other time, however 2K is cruising rpm.

WSI has the same setup as I do, but about 1-2 feet further back, still in front of the axle and dumped. He says the drone isn't nearly as bad as mine.

I don't mind it, but most of my passengers do. The drone (along with the boat-like suspension) actually puts my girlfriend to sleep. So... it's hard to say whether you'll hate the drone or not.

The howl of my mud grapplers put my girlfriend to sleep ver nicely haha. If I dump it then I need something like a super 40 I'm guessing so its not as loud

Search youtube. There many Raptor exhaust videos. I had an original 40 dumped and wasn't a fan. Too much whooshing air noises instead of exhaust sounds. I had that for a few months and swapped for the Magnapack. Have had it over a year and been very happy with it. Basically what one person likes, may not be what you like. Search youtube and try to find the sound you like on your truck.

Or come to one of the Raptor Runs (Texas Raptor Run, SnoBall 500, Raptor Expeditions) then you can hear them in person.. YouTube videos are okay, nothing beats real life!
