Good to know. Wasn't in my list of deal breakers, but good to know.

No real huge fuel hit with MPT. I avg 14.2 running mostly around town. Approx 12k miles on 93PRX tune. Typically leave truck in normal mode in town, and sport on the highway with this tune.

I noticed that with Sport truck will shift harder most likely due to RPM build up quicker. Very awesome but I usually leave it in normal until I get another PU Truck Buddy to line up :)

Post what you are getting.

Mpt 93PRX
Afe CAI
Whipple intercooler
SPD
FOMOco touring catback
And
Sp542 plugs

4.27 seconds with my P3 gauge.

Legit. Not brake boosted. Dead stop. 4WA. Traction control on. Sport mode.

Brake boosted with traction control off... I’m guessing 4.15ish. Haven’t had a chance to try.

Before the spark plug change my best was a 4.7!

No joke.

That’s pretty goofy fast for a land yacht.

Anyone have a good recommendation for an Intercooler for the MPT tune? Originally I was going to go with just the tune and hope flash to stock before any warranty work and figured the intercooler upgrade would be a huge red flag, but now I don't care. lol

The Wagner worked great for me. It is huge and probably one of the largest. The pressure drop is low as well, which in theory should = more power... MPT recommended the Wagner Competition Intercooler. It appears there are other good choices as well.

I installed the Wagner my self in my garage. It would be nice to have a helper just to guide the fan and intercooler assembly into place. No need to lift the truck though.

I will say as others have stated the instructions are pretty bad. You have to really look at the photos. The install was not bad and it still retains the louvers and the intercooler fans.

I took some photos of the install which may answer some questions. It took me a few hours... I took my time.

People seem like the Whipple intercooler too. The ADD and Full Race are probably the coolest looking....

do you drive in the winter at all? I got a black intercooler for my STI and I regretted it. It eventually chipped away.

I was just down at the RPG shop on Friday and Cory showed me their intercooler that they make in house (one on a truck and one he was making on the bench) He said I was $1000 and I was very impressed with it being at least as nice as the full race. They are running it with no tune currently. I am definitely going to go with it this summer only issue is you have to gut the inside of the grill to make room but I'm sure this is the case with all larger IC's.

FYI: the one on there website is not the one he showed me ( I think it is the full race one) you might have to call them to get current info as there website seems to be behind.

Actually I do...live in southwest OHIO...and never really thought of that. Thanks for the insight. The truck is gonna be Magnetic and black so wanted to keep the "shiney silver" from showing through.

I was living in Massachusetts at the time. The stock powedercoat lasted like 2 or 3 years (and it was an expensive, $1,300 Perrin intercooler), then I spraypainted it and it lasted another year, then I just sanded it so it was silver again.
