It's not just the weight of the glass but also the mechanism, wiring, and switches.
For most people who bolt a ton of extra weight on anyways it doesn't really matter.
For guys who might be into track days and sports cars the thought of extra weight being carried up that high in the roof can be mind boggling.

3 pages of discussion about a nonexistent "issue" of the additional weight of the panoramic roof.

The truck has tons of torque and HP and the typical owner will put far more weight in it (passengers, stuff, cargo, etc.) than the glass roof and mechanism weighs.

A far better question is, "Should I go with the panoramic roof or not?" And the answer to that is, "it's up to you - do you need the options that come with it?"

^^ This. I didn't want a moon roof so I did not get one. If you really want to min/max power to weight ratio then, well, it does add some weight. So... don't get one! Bottom line line The Raptor is not an ordinary truck and you're putting a lot money into it so make it your own...exactly how you want it.

All these posts and the true measure is weighing it when the seats and carpets are wet vs dry.
