Defintely not enough weight to be noticeable. I can see an argument for hardcore 4x4 users and not having glass up there for a roll-over, jumps, etc... but I think for most of us that doesn't apply.

I love my moon-roof. Was on the fence but so glad I got it.

I've opened the moonroof on my 2012 Raptor exactly once in the past 5 years, just to see if it worked. For me, the $1200 was better spend elsewhere.

Had I ordered my raptor I would not have got it, but this one had it, so whatever.. I only use it rarely.

+1 all that extra sealant, trim and shade weigh something too. It's more than swapping some aluminum for glass. But still, not going to be noticeable on a 3 ton truck.
ok so 2.5 more lbs for motor and 1 pound of lube and your at 22lbs more but again just guessing. someone ask call email ford perf to get real numbers

I'd worry more about the leaking people are reporting than the weight..

Been through heavy rain in mine and zero leaks.

Personally I love the sunroof on the SCREW. Thing is massive. I closed the shutter the other day and the truck feels closed off and almost claustrophobic after getting used to the airy feel from all the light that comes through the glass.

After sitting in both, I felt claustrophobic in the screw without the pano roof too.

The glass has got to weigh way more than the aluminum roof.

Has anyone weighed thier truck at the scales?

The panoramic roof weighs 68 pounds. I am not sure how much more it weighs compared to no glass. I can't recall where I got that info from. I ordered without pano roof and have been completely satisfied. No rattles, no leaks!
