It appears to be working pretty well! Are you happy with it?

I love it, it's a blast to drive.

I do have a problem never knowing where to draw the line with this truck though. I've always tossed around the idea of doing a full back half and linking it but I'm not sure it's the right truck to do it to.

Well I haven’t updated this thread in quite some time but I do still own this truck.

It went back into SVC for their DD 4 link kit. 2.5x16 coilovers, 4.0x18 bypasses, SVC’s housing with 10” 3rd member, Harmon 40 gallon fuel cell.

Also updated the front kit, engine cage now tied into the cab cage, 2.5 King bump stops bumping off the UCAs, additional tubes and gussets for the new structure.

Here’s just a small list of some things that still need to be done.

The new fiberglass needs final fitment and paint.

Really need to get some comms and navigation put into the truck.

Sync will often just lock up on me and the stereo won’t work until the truck is restarted. I know there are some solutions out there for this but I’m not super familiar with them. So I need to find a remedy for that.

At some point I’d also like to do a 2wd transmission conversion and get the now unnecessary transfer case out of there.

One wishlist item is a swing set steering setup, that’s really the last big modification I can see doing at this point. The truck has yet to give me a reason for it, I somehow haven’t had issues with the factory steering rack but I seriously doubt that will always be the case.

Did you just do the engine cage to complete the cage on the truck, along with going with the bumps off the UCA? If you were to keep the original, I'm assuming a slapper arm bump on the LCA, would you have went with the engine cage? Did you feel it was needed or more just a piece of mind thing?
