Is there Any way to remove the footprint. I had a BMW before the Raptor and you could hook a cable into the OBDM plug and with software remove the ghost code. I guess there is no scan tool that lets you do that with Ford.

It's a computer and NOTHING on a computer is gone forever. If they want to find it (warranty questions), they will find it. If your warranty is the main factor then it's not worth it.

I definitely agree. I ran into this with my last vehicle, a 2010 Audi S4. It also depends on the dealer and how "mod" friendly they are, but I would say wait until the warranty is done. Some dealers can be real ***** and blame everything on aftermarket parts. I am definitely waiting to tune mine until the warranty is gone.

Programmer and warranty?

I just bought a 2013 Raptor with the 6.2L and I was wondering if there are any programmers or chips that won't affect your warranty? Thanks

Doubt it. I asked my dealer who seems pretty lenient and he said if you mess with the programming the warranty would be voided.

Can they tell if you do a reflash or do they check if the truck has been tuned if you were to return it back to stock
