Ok I got the trimming, hammering, and top perch part but I have a few more questions.
1. 37"x13.50 toyo mt on a stock rim, is it possible?
2. Being on top perch is there anything else that should be upgraded on the front end? Does top perch put more strain on certain parts?

I use my truck regularly off-road but I'm in south Florida so it's just some high speed dirt roads with some small bumps and some mud. Not crazy deep mud just fun sized.

I would recommend the nitto 37"x12.50" trail grapplers. Almost the same tire just a little narrower and quiter. FYI toyo owns nitto.

We will be doing RPG UCA, tie rods and power steering reservoir now that we are on 37s. I think those are the areas that you'd want to hit first.

Let us know if you want to order anything from RPG, we are authorized resellers of their parts.

I would suggest alignment cams if going top perch, as it will be out of whack. I just went to the mid perch and I was at the outside parameters of the OEM adjustment when aligning the front end.

Not required if you do any of the aftermarket UCAs as they are adjustable. Just FYI, don't buy both!

Is there a more popular uca over another? I'd lean towards replacing that over the cams.

Dave

I have Outlaw's UCAs - can't really comment on the other vendor's. The uniball doesn't bind at full droop or compression. I think that was the issue in the early days.

So I must be retarded. I pulled the fender liner and flat off and removed the flat cover over pinch weld then hammered over the pinch seam. What I don't get is the cutting I am supposed to do... Does this look satisfactory?

Am I supposed to remove the upper most fin as well? Top of the wheel well? Fender liners are going back in? Won't rub?

Thanks

Cuts look good... now hammer them over for a nice flat out of the way of the tire look. Swing "into" the truck to bend the metal. The purpose of the cuts is to add reliefs in the metal, when you bend metal in this configuration with out reliefs it will buckle and contort and will never lay flat, not to mention it will look horrible.
