Is that a Harbor Freight 2 ton aluminum racing jack with Belly pan that I spy?

The yeti is really nice splurge, I am in total lock sync with the desire to have cold ones ready to go. One thing I figured out after many cervesa casualties was to cut a piece of the waterproof black packing foam slightly bigger than the opening so it compress fits. Slide it down, as the ice melts to keep contents from banging. That back area gets the most damage. Even potato chips turns to crumbs in unopened bag back there.

So you are going with just one spare, or was there another under the bed?

Cage looks GREAT!

Thanks fellers.

G... it's the 1.5 ton model (wish it was the 2). I stumbled on the jack mount searching for pics of different harbor freight mount setups. A guy on a Tacoma forum was selling it. $100 later and it was mine. I'm pretty sure it's made by a company called C4 Fab. I'm gonna have to try your solution to "cooler control". Smashed cervesas = no bueno.

Finally got around to getting the bed rack finished up. One of the best features of the YETI is you can strap it down and still maintain the functioning lid without any unstrapping. It'll be nice having the added weight in the rear considering the the spare is always towards the front of the bed.

Tizz, that's a great addition to the bed. Was this a build or buy project? Is the tire holder and the rest of the rack one unit? The black fire extinguisher matches well. Any and all details would be appreciated.

It is a one off rack and the tire mount and bed cage are separate pieces.

Thanks, will be trying like all hell! I should have a pretty good idea if it's doable once I get back in town.

Little audio update:

I had to ditch the 10" Kicker sub and enclosure. It sat way to tight up against the rear seat and completely muffled the sound. Ended up going with this 8" Bazooka tube powered by a built in 100 watt amp. Plain and simple, this little sub bumps! I'm VERY surprised with the level of clean bass thing spits out. 10X more sound compared to the factory sub...

No real updates but it's at an upholsterer's shop in Santa Ana right now getting a suede headliner. Front end LT on the horizon though.
