Wouldn't have gone so big back there if it weren't for the future 4 link rear tube chassis tie in. We want as much strength back there as possible.

I agree that some sort of cage is better than none at all but there is a reason why race trucks are required to be built to certain specs. Let's face it, many of us ARE running at race truck speeds. Definitely not TT fast but I'd be willing to bet that we're running at comparable or faster speeds to what a lot of limited trucks are capable of. I'm 10x more concerned about my safety off road versus on road. I cant remember the last time i had a pucker moment driving down the 405... Besides, being in a 6,000lb. truck with 37" tires and tube bumpers, I'm really not all that concerned about an impact with 95% of the other cars on the road.

Should have some updated pics today....

It is really Amazing how fast a stock Raptor can go off road. With bigger shocks and a few other mods these Raptors get kinda scarey fast.

Cage is looking good, I thought you were putting in a third (rear) seat ? Gonna be hard to get in, well for guys like me and big J !

Dam Chuck (sorry, I love calling guys name Charlie Chuck). John is doing an amazing job. I like everything about it and cant wait to see the finished product. Just promise us you keep it in the same shape as it leaves the shop:)

Ha.. I get Chuck a lot. Thanks though and yeah, this thing is staying intact. No way I want to go through doing (redoing) another cab cage anytime soon.
